Waunakee Baseball Boosters

Who We Are

Waunakee Baseball Boosters (WBB) is a volunteer-run booster organization established to assist, promote and support the Waunakee Community High School (WCHS) Baseball Program. Our goal is to enhance the Warrior Baseball experience for our student-athletes, coaches, families, and community. We provide financial support for program and facility improvements through fundraising and securing sponsorships and donations. Families of WCHS players are all members of the Boosters.

WBB was organized exclusively for public, charitable, and/or educational purposes within the scope of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

What We Do

We promote Warrior Baseball Spirit in our players, teams, families, and community.

• • We seek opportunities to promote our teams by maintaining social media accounts and informing local media of newsworthy events.

  • We plan, coordinate, and promote special recognition events for Varsity games such as Youth Night, Parent Night, Senior Night, Teacher Appreciation Night, Alumni Night, and Sponsor Night.

  • We produce and distribute Warrior Baseball branded items such as clothing, yard signs, window clings, and posters.

  • We plan and coordinate team-building activities such as team dinners.

  • We seek out opportunities for the team to build camaraderie and spirit while serving the community, like helping with the Rotary Lights display.

  • We seek out and coordinate special experiences for our players, like working with the Milwaukee Brewers so our Varsity Team can play a game at the Brewers’ home stadium.

  • We coordinate family events such as the Kickoff Family Potluck Dinner.

  • We help plan and coordinate our Annual Award and Recognition Reception to celebrate our team accomplishments and recognize individual achievement.

  • We provide special recognition for our senior class players.

We assist on Game Days and other events.

• • We coordinate the operation of scoreboards and pressbox announcers.

  • We organize and deliver team meals for away games and double-headers.

  • We provide concessions for select home games.

We provide administrative support so our coaches can focus on coaching.

• • We provide and maintain systems to register players, collect fees, manage distribution lists and team and family communication, and the team’s website.

  • We coordinate the distribution and collection of team uniforms and other equipment.

  • We produce and publish game day programs/rosters and the Team Yearbook.

  • We coordinate team photography and yearbook photos.

  • We provide administrative support for Youth Baseball Camps, and winter training programs.

  • We help coordinate the Summer Baseball League and Tournament Teams

  • We support the development of our coaching staff by providing funds to attend coaching conferences.

We work to maintain and improve Waunakee Baseball equipment and facilities.

• We coordinate workdays where players and families assist with facility and equipment upkeep (painting dugouts, weeding, repairing nets, etc.). We help with seasonal set-up and take-down of equipment.

• We provide gifts of equipment and facility upgrades to the WCSD using the funds we have raised. Some examples of past donations include:
