2026 Spring Trip

In 2026, 24 high school players embarked on a Spring Training trip to Kansas City, Kansas. Over the course of 5 days, players got to eat KC BBQ, visit Rosencrans Air National Guard base, practice, visit with college baseball players, and watch #1 UCLA play Iowa in Iowa City. A great trip, with great memories, and a great amount of learning. 

Waunakee Baseball Boosters Inc. works to make this trip as low-cost and accessible as possible. In 2026, our players were only responsible for covering the cost of 5 meals. Everything else (room, motorcoach, activities, and field rentals) was covered by the Boosters. 

Moving forward, we would like to make this trip an annual experience for our student-athletes. This can only happen with the support of our sponsors and fundraising efforts as a program.
